The very youngest children at Hyde ‘n’ Seek Springburn spend their time in our baby room, welcoming children from the age of 5 weeks to the age of 2 years. The baby room space is created with all their needs and requirements and is the perfect environment for them to begin to explore the world around them.

The baby room is made up of 2 playrooms and the main playroom offers different play areas such as a home corner, story areas, loose parts and this is where the children eat their meals throughout the day. To the side of the playroom there is a small kitchen where bottles and small meals are able to be prepared. There is also a changing area where the children are changed multiple times during the day which is calm and comforting area for all children.

As most of the babies will need to sleep during their time with us, we provide a dedicated sleep room, which is set up with each child having their own individual sleep mat, sheet and cover. We constantly monitor the children to ensure the babies are comfortable and safe while sleeping.

The sensory room is attached onto the main playroom but can be separated by doors, within the room the children have the opportunity to develop their sense with high quality resources which encourage the children to use different skills. Both playrooms are large, open and bright which we feel that all babies benefit from this.

At Hyde ‘n’ Seek Springburn all babies receive a high level of intimate care through a daily routine that promotes love, care and attention.
