Learning for Life
‘Children are provided with opportunities to develop skills for learning, skills for life and skills for work’ (L&T Scot). Children learn through curiosity, personal motivation and interest.
They engage in the learning process and then want to know more. Staff encourage this involvement and build on what the child already knows to provide learning opportunities for the children to explore new ideas and thoughts.
Staff focus on improving literacy, numeracy and health and well being, which are skills that will underpin all learning. Through this, your child will be encouraged to think and problem solve, evaluate and review their own learning.
