Breastfeeding

The Scottish government promotes breastfeeding as the optimum way of ensuring that babies have the best start in life and receive all the nutrients they need.  It is essential therefore that we at Hyde n Seek nurseries have staff that are able to support Parents who seek guidance about breastfeeding by signposting them to their health visitor, helplines or useful publications. All staff in our services has attended training events to ensure they have the knowledge to provide up to date information for parents. Within the services we have reviewed our resources accordingly and have books and stories that promote breastfeeding positively.
